Worship at St Bartholomew's

Sundays at 8.30 am (for 45-50 minutes)
Quiet Communion A reflective service using a modern language form ("Common Worship Order 1") with a sermon; children and young people are welcome, but there is no special provision for them.

Sundays at 10.00 am (for 60-70 minutes)
Celebration Communion A less formal service for all ages using a modern language form ("Common Worship Order 1") with a sermon and hymns, songs, and Communion music (a mixture of traditional and modern).
On the
3rd Sunday of each month, this service becomes All Age Communion and Parade service, with a shortened service, an interactive address for all ages, and (mostly) modern music
Once a month, usually on the
1st Sunday, we have a service without Communion called Word Alive.

There are "church bags" for younger children, to help them feel involved, and a creche facility for when they need a break. We are redeveloping our provision for children and young people; they are also welcome to our midweek Smartie Club or to Together at St John's School.

Wednesdays at 10.00 am (for 35-40 minutes)
Quiet Communion
Similar to Sunday, but with a smaller congregation; coffee is served afterwards.
