PARISH FESTIVAL - Friday 22nd Jesus My Boy - A one man show Rev Jeff Walker performs at Central Methodist Church, King Street. Event starts at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £3.00 from Joyce Miller (01254 884247), which includes a pie and peas supper. Saturday 23rd Family Fun Day Come along to the Lowerfold Community Centre between
Children's entertainer, games, BBQ, and stalls (tombola, bottles, toys, games, videos, CDs, cakes, and crafts), plus a raffle. Sunday 24th Festival Eucharist Rev Lynn McGregor will be preaching at this service
at Church Open 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm, with marquee and stalls in front of Church. Refreshments served. Festival Songs of Praise with the East Lancs Concert Band 6.30 pm start for the Songs of Praise led by the East Lancs Concert Band, followed by a Performance by the Band. Refreshments will be served, and there will be a retiring collection. Monday 25th Church Open 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, with marquee and stalls in front of Church. Refreshments served. Christian Illusionist - Steve Price There will be an evening of family entertainment from 6.30 pm at the Village Inn, Water Street. Tickets are £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for children, which includes a potato pie supper.

CHURCH OPEN DAYS St Bartholomew's Church will be open on Saturdays in August, between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm (except Festival Weekend, when it will be open Sunday and Monday instead). Anyone who can help with the rota please contact Margaret Ogden, Cynthia, or Olwen, or put your name on the rota at the back of Church.
