Flower Committee Contact: Brenda Humphreys (01254 886097)
Very few of the group have had any formal training in floral arts, but everyone has found hidden talents and a flair for different aspects of formal arranging. Membership is open to any parishioner, no special skills are required, just an enthusiasm for the work we set out to do.
As well as week-by-week flowers, we specialise in flowers for Church Festivals and weddings.
Study and fellowship
Cursillo Contact: Margaret Ogden (01254 883134) Cursillo (http://www.ukcursillo.org/) is a way of supporting and encouraging us on our Christian journey, offering us an opportunity to grow in faith, following the teachings and traditions of the Anglican Church. Cursillo begins with a weekend at Whalley Abbey with learning, worship, music, and fellowship, and an introduction to the Cursillo method of living the Christian life. After this weekend, we meet regularly in small groups following a simple rule of life. We encourage and support one another as we reflect on the ups and downs of our Christian lives.
