150 years of Mother’s Union

It is a 150 years since Mother’s Union was formed and a prayer baton has been going round the York Provence. The baton was received  recently into the Blackburn Diocese and has gone around the Deaneries with Mother’s Union branches. St. Bartholomew’s was chosen to represent the Whalley Deanery before it journeyed on. The prayer baton will eventually be archived at Mary Summer House in London.
